This guitar-driven, female-fronted, earworm-writing rock band had gained a strong following within only months of playing together. In preparation for recording their debut album, they wanted to establish a compelling visual identity that echoed its energy and personality in a simple, yet memorable way. In the guitarist's words, "We can be in-your-face, but only because we demand your attention, not because we're overly aggressive. We're fun, fairly happy and really enjoy playing together. We make mistakes and laugh about them." The result included custom modifications to an existing typeface and has since become a favorite design for the band's line of apparel.
